Mark Mitchell

Senior Advisor to Figure Skating Program

Mark Mitchell is a three-time U.S. National medalist and a two-time World Championship finalist, including a fourth-place finish at the 1993 World Championships, where he earned a perfect 6.0 for presentation.

Mitchell has had a recognizable impact on the sport of Figure Skating. He is a recipient of multiple U.S. Figure Skating and Professional Skaters Association Coach of the Year honors, as well as a U.S. Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year award.

In his advisory role, Mitchell will focus on developing MAI’s skaters to the same level of technical precision, longevity, and international competitiveness their athletes are known for.
