Peter Johannson

Senior Advisor to Figure Skating Program

Peter Johansson is a four-time Swedish National Champion who represented Sweden at the 1988 Winter Olympics and both the European and World Championships.

Johansson has had a recognizable impact on the sport of Figure Skating. He is a recipient of multiple U.S. Figure Skating and Professional Skaters Association Coach of the Year honors, as well as a U.S. Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year award.

In his advisory role, Johansson will focus on developing MAI’s skaters to the same level of technical precision, longevity, and international competitiveness their athletes are known for.
