Former Winchendon School Assistant Hockey Coach & Division 1 Athlete Adds Expertise To Girls’ Hockey Bench

STOW, Mass. — August 25, 2026 — Masters Academy International today announced the hiring of Bethany Ross as Assistant Girls’ Hockey Coach, adding expertise in girls’ and women’s hockey to the MAI staff ahead of the program’s inaugural season.

Ross joins the school after serving as an assistant hockey coach for The Winchendon School’s girls’ hockey program for three seasons under current MAI Director of Girls’ Hockey Jeff Pellegrini, including two with the 19U team. While at the prep school, the Michigan native also spent time working with students and helping them reach their goals as a teacher, marketing and admissions associate, and communications and advancement associate.

Prior to her time at The Winchendon School, Ross played four seasons of Division 1 women’s hockey at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire. She played 102 games as a defender from 2019-23 and helped lead the Ravens to the program’s first New England Women’s Hockey Alliance regular season championship as a junior during the 2021-22 season.

Ross earned a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Franklin Pierce in 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the university in 2022.
