How Support Happens
A plan, a conversation, and a next step.
Individual Learning Plan Meetings
In one-on-one meetings, known as O3s, students and their Dean set goals, review progress, and adjust their learning plans. A simple cycle—plan, act, monitor, reflect—helps students take increasing ownership of their development.
These conversations connect academic progress, personal goals, and college planning, with families kept informed along the way.

Grade-Level Group Sessions
Students learn alongside their peers through sessions focused on college exploration, communication, goal-setting, application preparation, and self-advocacy.
Shared experiences and peer feedback help them build confidence and learn from one another.
Families as Partners
Informed, connected, and part of the process.
Families play an essential role in each student’s journey. Communication with Deans, parent workshops, and the Path to College newsletter help families understand what comes next and how to support their student’s growing independence.
Topics include college fit, application planning, athletic recruitment, scholarships, financial aid, international study, and the transition to college life.

An Adult in Your Corner
Personal guidance. Shared ambition. Support that grows with you.
Through the Deans Program, students are paired with a dedicated adult who supports their academic progress, social-emotional wellbeing, and plans for the future. Deans work alongside teachers, coaches, counselors, and families to understand the whole student and help them move forward with confidence.
College Counseling
Your future deserves an individual plan.
Beginning in grade 10, students work directly with the Director of College Counseling, their Dean, and their coaches to develop a plan that reflects their academic interests, athletic goals, and personal ambitions.
Guidance brings together course selection, athletic recruitment timelines, testing strategy where applicable, and college exploration. Students prepare for a range of next steps, including collegiate athletics, liberal arts colleges, international universities, and professional pathways.
For students pursuing college athletics, MAI supports NCAA eligibility planning through core-course alignment, progress monitoring, transcript support, and certification guidance.

Deans Program
Know yourself. Find your direction. Build your future.
At Masters Academy International, preparing for the future begins with understanding who you are and what matters to you. Our Deans Program and college counseling team connect academic guidance, personal wellbeing, and future planning to support students as learners, athletes, and people.
For students in grades 6 through postgraduate, individual mentorship and grade-level programming help turn interests into goals, and goals into purposeful next steps.
Exploring What’s Possible
Connections that help students make informed choices.
Conversations with college representatives and campus exploration help students look beyond a brochure and ask questions about the experience they want.
MAI is developing a broader program of college fairs and university visits, with expanded programming planned from the school’s second year. Preparation and follow-up reflection will connect these experiences to students’ individual goals and college research.
