ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Welcome

At Masters Academy International (MAI), we believe greatness is not a matter of chance—it’s the result of engaging in a daily process of transformation that allows each student to pursue their very best.

We partner with students to think, train, and perform like professionals, uniting top-tier academics, pro-level coaching, and a culture of mentorship and purpose.

MAI is more than a school. It is a catalyst for change—a place where students discover who they are today and build the skills, habits, and perspective to become the people they want to be tomorrow.

Why MAI?

Because we refuse to make you choose

Most schools ask students to decide: rigorous academics or elite athletics. At MAI, those aren’t competing priorities—they’re partners in a daily process of growth. Students pursue both, without compromise, supported by mentors who understand what true balance requires.

Because sport is bigger than the game

Transformation at MAI isn’t limited to those who compete. Through our Non-Playing Concentration, students whose passions lie in the worlds around sport—science, media, business, advocacy—follow a mastery-based progression of exploration, experimentation, and capstone work. This isn’t a rigid track, but a guided journey that prepares students to turn passions into meaningful futures.

Because the future belongs to difference makers

Our pillars—holistic growth, durable skills, wayfinding, mentorship, teamwork, and making a difference—ensure that students leave not only prepared for college or sport, but ready to lead with courage and conviction in every arena of life.

Because community accelerates growth

Students at MAI are Mavericks—part of a global, diverse community where humility, courage, and teamwork are lived every day. Together, they challenge one another, support one another, and grow stronger than they ever could on their own.

Application Round Choices

Founding Families (Priority, Non-Binding)

Be among the first to lead. Founding Families are early partners who recognize the power of MAI’s model—one that refuses to make students choose between rigorous academics and elite athletics. This round confers priority consideration for seats and earlier access to our finite financial aid budget.

  • Non-binding—with a founder’s commitment: to secure your place and any aid award, families must accept and submit a non-refundable deposit by January 9, 2026.

  • If you do not accept by that date, your offer and any associated aid expire and your application returns to the Regular Notification pool. Offers and awards extended in the Founding Families round are not guaranteed in Regular Notification, as competition for both seats and funding increases over time.
